Rosin-Infused Marshmallow Cereal Bars

Servings: Makes 15 bars.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag (10 oz.) mini marshmallows
- ½ stick (4 tbsp) butter
- 6 cups cereal (Whatever cereal you love! All of them work.)
- ½ tsp sunflower lecithin
- Dash of vegetable, olive or coconut oil (to grease the pan)
- ½ gram rosin (approx. 80% active cannabinoids)
The amount of bubble hash or rosin that you use is up to you and depends on the desired dose. It’s always better to start with less and add more if needed.
Supplies:
- 11” x 8” pan
- Large pot
Instructions:
- First, start by decarboxylating your rosin. Melt it in a heat proof mini glass jar with the lid on at 250°F.
- A 1 oz. glass jar works well because there’s less surface area for your rosin to stick to, which means most of the rosin will be usable and not left on the sides of the jar. The rosin is ready when it’s almost done bubbling. (Time can vary for this part of the process.)
- While the rosin is in the oven, grease your pan and then find a large pot with high sides and wide opening, something you would boil pasta in. Place a 1/2 stick of butter in the pan.
- Once the rosin is out of the oven, open the lid of the glass jar, being mindful of heat and steam. Add a 1/2 teaspoon of sunflower lecithin and stir well.
- Melt the butter that you put into your large pot on low to medium heat. Once melted, add your rosin mixture to the butter and mix well. Mix very well.
- Add 10 oz. of mini marshmallows to your butter mix. Melt it all together, stirring regularly, on low to medium heat. Once the marshmallows are melted, mix it for another minute. Make sure the mix is creamy and that all the marshmallows are melted.
- Add 6 cups of cereal. Remove the pot from heat, and stir the marshmallow mixture until it evenly coats the cereal. It’s incredibly important that the cereal is covered evenly or the dosing will be inconsistent.
- Once it’s mixed thoroughly, pour the marshmallow-covered cereal into your pre-greased 11” x 8” pan.
- Cool for 1 hour, then cut into 15 pieces. Each cereal bite will be approximately 25 mg if the rosin is 80%. Dosing will vary depending on the quality and quantity of the rosin used.
When it comes to eating edibles, start small.
Less is more.
You can always add. You can always eat more. Edibles can lead to discomfort for some, so it’s best to have patience, take your time and be aware of how much you eat.
Faster metabolisms tend to feel effects sooner, as early as 15 minutes. Slower metabolisms can take up to an hour, and in extreme cases, even 2+ hours. My preferred delivery is to eat my edibles right before a meal. They tend to hit quicker.
